More Смерть президента Буша... какой ее видят сами американцы?... На проходящем в Торонто кинофестивале публике был представлен фильм "Смерть президента". Он рассказывает о событиях 2007 года, когда снайпер якобы убивает ныне действующего президента США Джорджа Буша. 93-минутная картина получила весьма умеренные аплодисменты, при этом половина зрителей быстро покинула кинозал, не дождавшись пресс-конференции. Больше всего вопросов последовало относительно того, знали ли власти города Чикаго, в котором проходили съемки, о том, над чем именно работает режиссер и если да, то как они позволили ему закончить работу над этим спорным, по мнению критиков, проектом. Режиссер и продюсер документальной киноленты Гэбриэл Рэндж (Gabriel Range) заявил, что разрешение было получено. Кроме того, консультантами картины выступили бывшие сотрудники ФБР. "Власти знали, что фильм называется "Смерть президента". Они также знали, что фильм рассказывает об убийстве президента", - добавил Гэбриэл Рэндж. В фильме использовались архивные материалы и компьютерные спецэффекты, чтобы достичь наибольшего сходства с реальностью. В картине также есть сцена, в которой "будущий" президент Дик Чейни произносит речь во время похорон Джорджа Буша.
