More First published in 1968, the book has served a pupose. Engineers of the new century would need a current book -- a book that will teach them how to take the Roscoe and Burland's Cam Clay model into the practice of engineering. The model did not exist in 1968. If you are new to the field, the book is not for you. Try a more elementary exposition on the subject.
