Some of the fondest memories we at exogames have are from the 80's hey-day of 8-bit "vector" video games... Major Havoc, Star Wars, Gravitar, Tempest... Ahhhh, good times. So, if you are like us - children of the eighties - you also spent many an hour of your mis-spent youth standing in dark Arcades, hovering over glowing vertical machines and sit-down consoles. Clutching the games' controller and pounding the buttons as quarters jangle in your acid-washed jeans pocket. The images on the games' old Cathode-ray tubes were a chaotic Maelstrom of shapes and colors, explosions and bonus items. Donkey Kong ruled, Asteroids rocked, and Defender saved the humanoids...

"Wouldn't it be great", we thought,"to bring back the feel of those Classics while also updating them to something more complex, more elaborate, and with more action, more explosions, more mayhem... more fun!

So, we did. And the result is Conquest of Phobos.
