The single greatest book I have ever read, this book is basically a guide to enlightenment and extremely well written. I recommend this book for anyone seeking a spiritual path or anyone with pain in their lives that wants a real solution rather than a quick "fix". This book is rather long but I am following all of its advice and leading a spiritual life.

The author describes his life in a monastary and the things he learned from his teachers, the challenges he faced with himself, and there is quite a bit of philosophical and psychological information in the book as well.
