More Tai L. Chow, "Chemical Warfare Agents" Chemical Warfare Agents discusses the chemical warfare agents that inflict immediate direct toxic effects on humans, animals, and plants and long term effects on human beings. The book places particular emphasis on the effects wrought on military personnel after exposure to low levels of sarin, a chemical suspected to have been used against U.S. troops during the Persian Gulf War. It also discusses the effects of certain factors, such as stress, surrounding, and other chemicals that can enhance or decrease the toxicity of chemical used in war.
