Beschreibung: Nastasja ist eine Unsterbliche. Sie lebt schon seit 459 Jahre und hat die letzten Jahrhunderte nur eins im Sinn gehabt, Party zu machen. Bis eines Tages ihr bester Freund Incy einen Unschuldigen schwer verletzt, was sie völlig aus der Bahn wirft. Sie sieht sich zurück und nimmt das Angebot von River an, sie auf Rivers Egd zu besuchen, einer abgelegenen Farm in Massachusetts. Dort leben noch andere Unsterbliche, vor allem Reyn hat es Nastasja angetan. Aber irgendwie kommt er ihr bekannt vor, und irgendwie kann sie ihn eigentlich gar nicht leiden.

Eine wirklich interessante Geschichte, die nicht unbedingt durch Aktion besticht. Sie wird in der Ich-Form aus der Sicht von Nastasja erzählt. Die Farm von River ist ein Ort, an dem die Unsterblichen zu sich selbst finden und ihre Fähigkeiten in der Magie festigen können. Das hört sich jetzt vielleicht langweilig an, ist es aber gar nicht. Am Anfang weiß man gar nicht so viel über Nastasja und über die Unsterblichen erfährt um so interessanter wird es.

Die Beziehung zwischen Nastasja und Reyn ist sehr ungewöhnlich. Die beiden haben eine gemeinsame Vergangenheit, die sehr erschwerend ist. In Rückblenden erfährt man immer man von Nastasja und auch von Reyn. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, war, dass Nastasja ursprünglich aus Island kommt und die Rückblenden natürlich auch hier stattfinden.

Das Ende ist recht offen und lässt mich sehnsüchtig auf die Fortsetzung warten.
