The plot for “Can I Do It ‘Till I Need Glasses?” revolves around a series of sexual themed comedy vignettes. The story are all quick and to the point. Some of the funnier moments include man sitting next to a preacher on a bus looking at a hustler magazine while he masturbates. Another standout moment includes a series of moments involving “Lone Stranger & Pronto”. The first one has Pronto leaving Lone Stranger to die when a snake bites him on his penis and Pronto does not want to help him suck the poison out.

Later in the film Lone Stranger is seen again alive after being saved by a woman whose wagon had been passing by. Now he is looking for Pronto because he wants to kill him for leaving him to die and the pain he is currently in.

The film includes two scenes with actor Robin Williams which reportedly were not originally part of the film and they were added later when Williams name became more prominent because of “Mork & Mindy”. To make matters worse the two scenes with Robin Williams are not that funny and if it weren’t for name recognition they most definitely would have and should have been left out. Another notable performer who also has a brief appearance is Uschi Digard an actress known for her erotic films that she starred in the 1970’s. “Can I Do It ‘Till I Need Glasses?” as a sketch comedy film does faintly resemblance to “Kentucky Fried Movie”. Both movies were released in 1977 and any similarities between the two movies are most likely just a coincidence.

Overall if you like naughty sexual comedy situations and jokes then there is plenty here that you will find enjoyable.
