More In das Stadtbild von Berlin hat sich seine Geschichte unwiderruflich eingebrannt, so auch die Nutzung von Plätzen und Gebäuden durch die Nationalsozialisten. Doch an welchen Schauplätzen jenseits einer "Welthauptstadt Germania" und der unheilvollen Zerstörung durch die Bombenangriffe im Kampf um Berlin 1945 das Alltagsleben stattfand, ist weit schwieriger zu belegen. Heute sind solche Orte ohne historisches Wissen kaum wiederzuerkennen. Für den Berlin-Besucher wie den interessierten Hauptstädter ist deshalb ein Stadtführer entstanden, der in kompakter Form alle wichtigen Schauplätze der NS-Geschichte in Berlin und der näheren Umgebung vorstellt. Auf jeweils einer Doppelseite werden die Informationen zu einem Ort graphisch aufbereitet und übersichtlich dargestellt. Auch die vierfarbige Gestaltung unterstützt ein schnelles Erfassen der wesentlichen Fakten, die so ausgewählt wurden, daß sie für sich sprechen und eine kritische Bewertung ergeben. Ausklappbare Karten erleichtern das schnelle Auffinden der Orte und das Zusammenstellen eigener Besuchsrouten. Behandelt werden unter anderem der Adolf-Hitler-Platz und das Alliierten-Museum, das Denkmal für die Ermordeten Juden Europas und der Dienstsitz des Reichsführers SS, die Euthanasiezentrale und der "Führerbunker", die Gedenkstätte Deutscher Widerstand und das KZ Columbiahaus, der "Hakenkreuz-Wald" und das Nazibordell "Salon Kitty", das Sowjetische Ehrenmal in Treptow und der Sportpalast, die Gedenkstätte Topographie des Terrors und der Volksgerichtshof, das Wohnhaus von Joseph Goebbels und die zahlreichen Zwangsarbeiterlager.
