More I have quite a few beading books, buy the current beading magazines, and attend the big beading shows. Oftentimes, I questioned if this was a good thing for creativity ~that is, to see so much other work that it may influence my work, which is something I dont really want. I am interested in technique. NOTHING prepared me to see how easy it was to " weave" beads together by simply following a thread pattern to create the most stunning forms, motifs and shapes!!!! Anything that is used ..lets say.. for a ring left, can just as easily be used for a pendant or bracelet, its so workeable and the ideas just flow once you get started!!
