This book presents carefully edited and peer-reviewed papers from the 2nd International Workshop on Occultations for Probing Atmosphere and Climate (OPAC-2), held in Graz, Austria. It covers results from the radio occultation (RO) experiment onboard CHAMP and from the stellar occultation experiment GOMOS onboard ENVISAT, wave optics algorithms for the processing of RO data in the troposphere, future occultation missions, the novel LEO-LEO crosslink concept, and the use of RO data in numerical weather prediction, atmospheric studies and climate research.
