Anthropologie politique de la globalisation

La globalisation ne met pas un terme aux diverses formes d'identités et d'altérités des hommes en société mais elle en modifie profondément la nature.

Cet ouvrage entend aller au-delà du simple constat de nouvelles pratiques ethnographiques. Les auteurs tentent de produire une analyse anthropologique des normes qui constituent le ressort principal des processus de globalisation dans les domaines de la santé, du travail, de la sécurité, de l'éthique et de la moralité humanitaire. Ces normes sont portées par des acteurs idéologiques tels que les femmes, l'étranger, le pauvre, les ONG, figures symboliques ou organisations qui permettent leur résonance, leur réinterprétation, leur incorporation, leur diffusion.

Le projet d'une gouvernance sécuritaire et globalisée privilégie une reproduction paisible de l'économie de marché. Dans ce cadre, une démocratie de consommateurs d'émotions remplace les sujets politiques. Les conséquences épistémologiques de ces mutations actuelles interpellent de façon décisive les anthropologues du présent.
