More Jeden Abend treffen sich Alex und seine "Droogs" in der Milchbar und ziehen dann, mit Drogen aufgeheizt und in ihrem Spezialjargon sprechend, durch die Nacht, eine blutige Spur von Brutalität, Schlägerei, Verwüstung und Vergewaltigung hinter sich lassend. Alex ist der schlimmste von allen, der Beethovens Musik besonders liebt, weil sie seine Gewaltlust zusätzlich anstachelt und inspiriert. Als er aber in das Haus einer Katzenliebhaberin einbricht und sie dabei im Handgemenge totschlägt, verraten ihn seine Droogs an die Polizei, und das Blatt wendet sich radikal. Alex kommt ins Gefängnis. An ihm wird dann, um ihn von seiner zügellosen Gewalttätigkeit zu heilen, ein neues Gehirnwäscheverfahren angewandt, das den wilden, bösen Alex in ein gesetzestreues angepasstes Mitglied der Gesellschaft verwandeln soll.
