More Alexander Hislop - Von Babylon nach Rom Hislops religions- und kulturgeschichtliche Analyse gilt seit langem als absolutes Standardwerk, und das Fehlen einer deutschen Übersetzung war bisher eine schmerzliche Lücke auf dem hiesigen Buchmarkt. Nun liegt der Klassiker endlich auch auf Deutsch vor. Hislop zeigt frappante wie gleichfalls eklatante Parallelen zwischen der ur-heidnischen babylonischen und der römisch-katholischen Religion auf. Diese Übereinstimmungen wie z.B. die Verehrung einer Muttergöttin, das Meßopfer oder die Lehre vom Fegefeuer sind nicht zufällig, sondern auch von der geschichtlichen Entwicklung her nachweislich zu begründen.
