More Air Pollution (Clay's Library of Health and the Environment) by Jeremy Colls Every section of this new edition of Air Pollution has been updated, with particular emphasis on indoor air quality, and a new chapter on Air Pollution Control and Measurement of Industrial Emissions has been added. This new edition continues to cover the wide range of air quality issues in an accessible style. Each topic has a historical introduction, reviews the range of accepted literature, and highlights areas in which developments are currently taking place. Topics covered include the sources and sinks of gaseous and particulate air pollutants, dispersion measurement, mobile sources, indoor air pollutants, and the effects on plants, materials, humans and animals. Local case studies are referred to demonstrating the application of theory to practice. The recommended reading lists from the first edition have also been updated. Air Pollution is recommonded for undergraduate and postgraduate students specializing in air pollution. It will also be of interest to air pollution specialists in government and industry.
