The book is full of activities that give students the chance to explore their insights into literature in a variety of ways - through writing, poetry, art, research and making personal connections to characters, quotations and events. The teacher-tested, hands-on activities engage students of all levels and learning styles. Best of all, they are designed so that teachers can use them with any novel. In fact, many of the activities are also appropriate to use with short stories, biographies, autobiographies and other reading material as well.
