内容简介 宫廷演义是传统历史演义的一个重要门类。它以宫廷为中心，以帝王后妃之间的爱恨情仇、朝臣阉竖之间的纠葛争斗为主线，旁涉广取，把当朝重要史事都引入其中。它细节描摹方面不无夸饰，但大事上基本忠于史实。尤其是在趣味性和可读性上，超过了其他史传类著作。 二十世纪封建王朝结束后，出现了一大批宫廷演义。其中，徐哲身、张恂子、许啸天、许慕羲所著的七种，全面演述了从秦到清的历史，是其中的佼佼者，且首尾相连，成一体系，两干余年一百余朝宫廷历史尽在其中。 《中国历代宫廷演义丛书》，深入宫闱，演述帝王后妃间爱恨情仇；广涉史事，详览封建王朝之波诡云谲。读透了这套书，就读透了宫廷；读透了宫廷，就读透了历史；读透了历史，现实也就洞然胸中
