辛伯达航海历险记在古代巴格达城中，住着一个叫辛伯达的脚夫，他终日搬运，生活却十分贫困。有一天，天气炎热，他累得大汗直流。当时他从一家富商门口经过，便放下担子，坐在石阶上稍事休息。忽然他闻到屋里散发出来的芬芳香味，听到婉转的歌唱声，他不禁悄悄向里窥看，只见里面是一座富丽堂皇的庭园，豪华犹如王公的宫殿。他不禁长叹一声，说道：“啊，老天！你真是太不公道了。为什么有的人——就像这房子的主人，就这么幸运，能穿丝绸，吃美味，而像我这样的人，却要终日劳碌呢？”
