以民国为背景,讲述发生在北京琉璃厂古玩街上三个男人和两个女人一生的恩恩怨怨,展示了老北京古玩业中的各色人等和故事,体现的完全是一种“性格就是命运”的人文状态,悲情也好、市井也罢,那种人和人之间的心态,是附在古玩后面最直接的东西......
邹静之,男,1952年生。中国作家协会会员,诗刊编辑。著有诗集《幡》散文集《美人与匾》《酒话》《一地景象》《风中沙粒》;小说诗文集《骑马上街的三哥》等十余种。创作电视连续剧《琉璃厂传奇》《五月槐花香》等。 小学一毕业就赶上“文革”,16岁下乡到北大荒,后来又在河南农村插过两年队,盖过房子,当过装卸工、瓦匠、烧砖的、烧酒的,还拉过伴奏、唱过独唱……邹静之对自己说,“我是个手艺人,绝对饿不死。”再回北京时邹静之已经28岁了,把自己写的第一篇稿子《盖侠其人》投到《北京晚报》的一分钟小说,发表了。自打那起,他来了精神头开始写诗,写了多年,被诗刊、北京文学等多家刊登,得了北京建国40周年诗人奖。不过,让邹静之扬名的还是他的编剧头衔,从《琉璃厂传奇》到《康熙微服私访记》、《铁齿铜牙纪晓岚》再到话剧《我爱桃花》,他“编”出的一块金字招牌,响当当的。 邹静之觉着,“编剧和写诗歌的关系很大,因为写诗歌对人的语言锻炼太大了。”也正是写诗的锻炼,使得《五月槐花香》这部由电视剧本改写的小说,语言起伏有致,带着鲜明的节奏感,好读的同时文字亦不失其神采。剧本改写的小说,对白丰富,心理描写不多,邹静之坦言这很难避免,但他表示自己对“说话”的要求是极其严格的,特别强调对白的声音感。他说:“即便是我的剧本,也从来没对演员的声调、语气作过任何提示,比如标上‘她固执地说’之类的。我觉得对白就应该包含着语气,有声音感,好像话剧剧场里的感觉。整个故事写的是一股气韵,而这股气韵的流动靠的就是台词。” 以“五月槐花香”为题,又显出了邹静之的诗人本色。邹静之解释说:“这是写老北京的事儿,北京的刺槐是五月初开的,开白花,可以吃的,我觉着它能代表北京。写完这本小说,刚好槐花开了,香极了。起一个离主题遥远的名字,挺好……”
